Nick Pate of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, was elected as an athlete representative, replacing an athlete director who resigned. He is a six-time member of Team USA (2017, 2019-2023). As a team member in 2019, he earned one of two men’s spots, along with Jakob Butturff, on Team USA for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, and won the gold medal in both singles and doubles at the event. He also was a member of the team that captured gold at the Pan Am Bowling Men’s Championships in 2019, and he added two more gold medals (doubles, team) and two silver medals (trios, all-events) at the 2021 PANAM Bowling Elite Championships. He attended Midland University, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and won the 2017 Intercollegiate Singles Championships title and was the 2016-2017 National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA) Most Valuable Player. He also helped Midland to a runner-up finish at the 2015 Intercollegiate Team Championships, earning NCBCA first-team All-American honors that season. In 2023, he helped K & J Finishing 1 capture the Team All-Events title at the USBC Open Championships to claim his first Eagle.
