2024 USBC Convention
We would like to thank all our delegates for an amazing week at the USBC Convention! Convention is an exciting time for Bowl for the Cure where we get to show all your hard work for Bowl for the Cure to the community.
The Survivor Luncheon allowed our community's breast cancer survivors to come together to be honored. It was a beautiful luncheon where stories were shared and friendships were made, which reminds us of the strength and fortitude it takes to fight this disease.
Sheri Sexton from Northwest New Mexico USBC was honored with the More Than Pink Award for her efforts supporting Bowl for the Cure and the breast cancer cause. Her and her association's support show how every person, league and association can make a difference no matter how big or small.
Lastly, Meet for the Cure reminded all of us of the importance of finding a cure. Lauren Schaefer from Susan G. Komen gave a magnificent speech about our long-standing partnership and the impact we have had and are still making as a bowling community. The glowstick ceremony was just as moving as ever, allowing us to honor survivors, those still battling and those who have passed.

Pink Highlight – USBC Convention Donors
We would like to give a shout out to all those who donated during the USBC Convention. Thanks to YOU we raised over $2,000 for the fight against breast cancer!
Also, congratulations to Bret Loeb - Greater Richmond USBC - and Dianne Sanders - York-Adams USBC - for winning the Bowl for a Cure giveaway. All those who donated were entered into a drawing, and Bret and Dianne won a Bowl for the Cure bowling pin and bowling ball, respectively.
