Gift For Life Scholarships awarded
The United States Bowling Congress has awarded $1,000 college scholarships to 12 USBC Youth members through the USBC Gift For Life Scholarships program.

Indianapolis USBC Youth get an up-close look at a PBA Tour stop
The final event of the 2010-11 Lumber Liquidators Professional Bowlers Association Tour season was the Dick Weber PBA Playoffs. USBC Youth members in the Indianapolis area had the chance to see the how the final three PBA Tour players reached the championship round at Woodland Bowl.

The Bowling Combine to connect bowlers and college coaches
A program to bring together youth bowlers who want to compete at the collegiate level, and college coaches seeking players for their programs, will take place Aug. 10-11, 2011, at the International Training and Research Center.

USBC announces Youth Committee selections
The United States Bowling Congress Board of Directors selected Debra Haggerty, Alan Nordman Sr., and Rick Pittser to serve on the USBC Youth Committee for the 2011-12 season. Each was recommended by the USBC Nominating Committee.

Malott giving back with youth scholarship tournament
When local youth bowlers walk into one of Wes Malott’s pro shops and find him behind the counter, they see a PBA star they watch on TV, an idol whose style they try to emulate on the lanes. What they don’t see is the Wes Malott who once stood in their shoes, the one who put 17-hour days in at his hometown bowling center as a kid, the Wes Malott who never forgets where he came from.
