SMART Corporation plans distribution
The Board of Directors of SMART (Scholarship Management and Accounting Reports for Tenpins) Corporation will make an income earnings distribution to providers' funds later this quarter. A $400,000 total distribution will be credited before March 4, 2013.

Unified IBC Youth Committee formed
The USBC and BPAA Boards of Directors have approved the
creation of unified International Bowling Campus (IBC) Youth Committee. The new IBC Youth Committee will merge the USBC and BPAA Youth Committees.

Frank Wilkinson of Staten Island, N.Y., and Kevin Russell Jr. of Orlando, Fla., have been selected by the USBC Board of Directors to serve on the USBC Youth Committee starting with the 2013-14 season.

Changes to SMART in 2013
Participants and providers in SMART, the scholarship management program for youth bowlers, will notice some changes to the program's online portal in 2013. The changes are designed to strengthen the program and enhance functionality.

Youth Open to have age-based divisions
The United States Bowling Congress Youth Open Championships will move to aged-based divisions in 2013 and the event also will see the addition of a regional tournament.
