USA Bowling Coaching to offer seminars
For youth bowling coaches, volunteers or parents of children involved in the sport, USA Bowling will provide coaching seminars designed to teach basic bowling coaching skills. The seminars will be held throughout the country this fall.

Industry unites for youth league promotion
The bowling industry is uniting to promote and launch the national "8 for 8" Bowling Club promotion this fall in an effort to introduce more children under the age of 12 to the sport. The program gives kids the opportunity to participate in an 8-week league for $8 per week and includes a custom-fitted ball and a basic United States Bowling Congress Youth membership.

USBC Convention starts Wednesday
USBC will kick off its seventh annual convention Wednesday morning at the Sheraton Hotel and the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas. During the three-day convention, delegates will have the opportunity to attend numerous workshops, select four members for the USBC Board of Directors and vote on several legislative proposals.

The 2013 USBC Queens presented by Storm is scheduled for Labor Day weekend at Sunset Station's Strike Zone Bowling Center in suburban Las Vegas, and a new three-year deal with ESPN ensures national television coverage continues to be a part of the Queens.

Bowling Combine set for Aug. 7-11
After selling out in its inaugural year, the Bowling Combine for College Prospects will return to the International Training and Research Center on August 7-11 with expanded capacity to help bring youth bowlers together with college coaches.
