Youth Clinics
ITRC Youth Summer Training Series - Wednesday Evenings
The ITRC Youth Summer Training Series is open to all youth bowlers who use traditional 1-handed or 2-handed techniques and are looking to improve their skills. This four-week program is ideal for beginner bowlers building a foundation, as well as advanced youth preparing for sport patterns, SYC events, or Junior Gold competition.
Participants attending this series will work with the ITRC staff on the following:
- On-lane instruction with personalized skill development
- Exposure to House, Challenge, and Sport lane conditions
- Physical game techniques – approach, footwork, swing, and finish position
- Targeting and spare shooting systems
- Release consistency and variation
- Lane play strategy and adjustment skills
Bowlers will be grouped by skill level and work closely with coaches to focus on their individual development path.
Cost: $100 per bowler
Eligible: Open to all youth bowlers

Adult Clinics
ITRC Adult Training Series - Thursday Evenings
The ITRC Adult Training Series is open to all adult bowlers (age 18 and older), whether you’re a Classic Style, 1-Handed, or 2-Handed bowler. This four-week training program is designed for beginner bowlers looking to improve their fundamentals, as well as advanced bowlers preparing for competitive patterns, city or state tournaments, or national championship events.
Participants attending this series will work with the ITRC staff on the following:
- On-lane instruction tailored to skill level
- Development on House, Challenge, and Sport/PBA lane conditions
- Physical game fundamentals – approach, footwork, swing, and finish position
- Targeting and spare system development
- Consistent release and release versatility
- Lane play techniques and strategy
Students will be grouped and coached based on individual skill sets and goals.
Cost: $100 per bowler
Eligible: Open to all adult bowlers (age 18 and older)

Adult Lane Play Clinic - 180+ Average
The Adult Lane Play Clinic is open to all adult bowlers (age 18 and older) with an average of 170 or better, looking to improve their bowling skills. Participants attending this clinic will have the opportunity to work with the ITRC staff on the following items:
- Classroom and on-lane instruction
- Learn strategy to playing difficult patterns
- Prepare for more challenging lane conditions
- Bowl on different patterns and learn the proper technique to attack each one
Eligible: Open to all adult bowlers (age 18 and older) with an average of 179 or lower looking to improve their bowling skills.

- Physical game development and awareness
- Bowler release discovery - positive axis point (PAP), axis tilt, axis rotation
