Rick Pollard, along with brother Ron, excelled in the USBC Open Championships. He was a member of the team that won the 1996 Team All-Events title with a 10,425 total. He also finished third in doubles that year. Additionally, Pollard was a member of the team that finished in second place at the 1994 Open Championships. He has four other Open Championships top 10 finishes. Along with other national, state and local titles, he was a member of the 1998 USBC/Brunswick World Team Challenge Grand Championship team.
