Linda Kelly rose to the pinnacle of bowling achievement as an amateur, a professional and an international competitor. For more than 20 years, Kelly held averages of 200 or higher with a high season average of 223. In 1982, she earned the first of three Classic Division team championships at the USBC Women's Championships. In 1987, Kelly rolled a 300 game in Classic Division doubles competition at the Women's Championships. Kelly competed on Team USA in 1988 and 1990, and in 1988 she won the AMF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico. Kelly won the Robby's Open in 1992 while bowling on the Ladies Professional Bowling Tour. In 1999, she won the Regional Player's Championship on the Professional Women's Bowling Association Tour. For earning the most titles in the Northeast region during the 1990s, Kelly was among the first group of players ever named Regional Player of the Decade by the PWBA.
