Billick was the first bowler to roll more than 15 perfect games in USBC-certified competition. His total of 17 was the top total for many years and was compiled over a 25-year span in 10 different establishments. His best USBC Open Championships series came in 1978 with a 664 in singles at age 68. In the 1949-50 season, he bowled in eight leagues a week in Wilkes-Barre, Old Forge and Scranton.
