Doris Coburn earned team-event titles at the USBC Women's Championships in 1970 and 1972. In 1975 Coburn won the Brunswick Red Crown Classic. When her daughter Cindy Coburn-Carroll was inducted in 1998, they became the first mother-daughter combination in the Hall of Fame. She became a member of the PWBA Hall of Fame in the Pioneer category in 1996.
