Meisel constructed a brilliant career on the national and international levels. He captured the Federation Internationale des Quilleurs American Zone Masters title in 1989 to cap a career that included 24 medals in international competition for Team USA. Meisel was the National Amateur Champion in 1988 and garnered four eagles in USBC Open Championships play. He also won numerous state and local titles.
