Vote now in the Bowl for the Cure Fabulous Four essay contest

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Bowl for the Cure® Fabulous Four essay contest entries that have been submitted and approved now are online and voting is underway to determine the submission that will earn a bonus prize.
Bowl for the Cure is a year-round fundraising initiative sponsored by USBC in partnership with Susan G. Komen®. The Fabulous Four essay contest, which opened earlier this month, is being held to raise awareness about breast cancer. Four grand prize winners will be selected for a five-day trip that will start in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and end at the 2015 USBC Women’s Championships in Reno, Nevada.
The essay contest is open to women who have been impacted by breast cancer and/or have been involved in supporting the fight against breast cancer. To enter or to vote, go to BOWL.com/FabulousFour.
While online voting will determine the bonus prize, a panel including last year’s Fabulous Four winners, Professional Women’s Bowling Association spokesperson Kelly Kulick, Susan G. Komen® staff and USBC staff will determine the four essay contest winners that will receive the five-day trip.
For the essay contest, two of the Fabulous Four selections will be based on the essay writer’s personal experience with breast cancer, and two selections will be for meritorious service in the fight against breast cancer.
The deadline to submit an essay in the Fabulous Four essay contest is Feb. 12.
