Two weeks added to 2027 USBC Women’s Championships
July 02, 2026
ARLINGTON, Texas – As capacity for the 2027 United States Bowling Congress Women’s Championships in Mooresville, North Carolina, surpasses 85%, the tournament staff has elected to open two additional weeks of squads in July.
The 107th edition of the event now will run from April 18 to July 25 at New Victory Lanes. The tournament originally was scheduled to wrap up July 11.
More than 3,900 four-player teams are registered to compete in the Charlotte suburb, and the 2027 event is trending for the largest turnout at the USBC Women’s Championships since 2017.
The new squads will become available to all starting July 2 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
In addition to the tournament making its first trek to North Carolina since 2007, next year’s event also will feature new squad times and an adjustment from four bowlers on a pair for doubles and singles to six.
For 2027, the team event will be scheduled at noon and 8 p.m., while doubles and singles will take place at 7:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The 8 p.m. squad will switch daily between team and doubles/singles competition.
