ARLINGTON, Texas - Eight of the top youth bowlers in the country will travel to the Dominican Republic in July to represent Junior Team USA at the 2011 Pan American Bowling Confederation Youth Championships.

The event, which will be broadcast live on BOWL.com by the United States Bowling Congress, will be held in Santiago, Dominican Republic, from July 16-23 and features countries in the American Zone competing in singles, doubles, trios, team, all-events and match-play Masters.

The U.S. girls roster includes Elise Bolton of Merritt Island, Fla., Jessica Earnest of Vandalia, Ill., Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, N.Y., and Kaitlin Quinn of Livonia, N.Y.

On the boys side, Junior Team USA will be represented by Marshall Kent of Yakima, Wash., Kyle King of Glendale, Ariz., Andrew Koff of Miami and EJ Tackett of Huntington, Ind.

Junior Team USA will look to continue the success it had at the last PABCON Youth Championships, conducted in Bogota, Colombia, in 2009. That squad captured eight gold medals, eight silver medals and three bronze medals for a total of 19 medals. The boys and girls teams both medaled in every event.

USBC will provide free live streaming of the event from start to finish on BOWL.com. The specific schedule will be announced at a later date.

Junior Team USA will also compete in the Lee Evans Tournament of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from July 31-Aug. 6. Representing Junior Team USA will be Earnest, McEwan, Matt Gasn of Laurel, Md., and Scott Boyle of Salida, Calif.
