PWBA, Collegiate and Youth events to be showcased on CBS Sports Network in 2024

ARLINGTON, Texas – CBS Sports Network will continue as the television partner for Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour majors along with premier collegiate and youth events as part of a 12-event television schedule in 2024.

Highlighting the 2024 television schedule will be live coverage of the stepladder finals of the three most prestigious events on the PWBA Tour. The first of the season’s three majors will be the United States Bowling Congress Queens from The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with live coverage of the stepladder finals on May 21.

The stepladder finals of the U.S. Women’s Open follows on June 18 from Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis, and the stepladder finals of the PWBA Tour Championship complete CBS Sports Network’s season coverage on Aug. 13 from Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan. Each of the three two-hour live events is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern, and all are on Tuesdays.

In addition to live coverage of the women’s professional majors, CBS Sports Network will once again feature four shows from the Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships, the finals of all three divisions of the Junior Gold Championships and the two title matches at the USA Bowling National Championships.

Last year marked the return of the finals of both the Junior Gold Championships and the USA Bowling National Championships to broadcast television for the first time since 2019.

The finals of college bowling’s premier events, the Intercollegiate Singles Championships and Intercollegiate Team Championships, will be held in suburban Louisville at Kingpin Lanes in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, and will kick off CBS Sports Network’s 2024 coverage with telecasts on four consecutive Tuesdays in April and May, all at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The ISC women’s finals will air Tuesday, April 23, followed by the ISC men’s finals on April 30, the ITC women’s title match on May 7 and the ITC men’s final on May 14.

Rounding out CBS Sports Network’s 2024 coverage are the finals of the USA Bowling Championships on consecutive Tuesdays in July and the boys and girls finals in each of the three divisions of the Junior Gold Championships in late July and continuing into August. Both events will be contested in the greater Detroit area.

The U12 division finals of the USA Bowling Championships will be televised Tuesday, July 16, at 7 p.m. Eastern and will be followed by the finals of the U15 division Tuesday, July 23, also at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The finals of the U12, U15 and U18 divisions at the Junior Gold Championships are slated to be televised on consecutive Tuesdays beginning July 30 (U12), continuing Aug. 6 (U15) and concluding Aug. 13 (U18). The U12 and U15 finals will air at 7 p.m. Eastern while the U18 finals are slated for 5 p.m. Eastern.
