Jordan Richard leads qualifying at 2019 PWBA Lincoln Open

LINCOLN, Neb.
- Jordan Richard of Tecumseh, Michigan, put together a dominating performance Friday to lead qualifying at the 2019 Professional Women's Bowling Association Lincoln Open.

The 2018 PWBA Rookie of the Year led the 77-player field at Sun Valley Lanes with a 3,516 total for 16 games, a 219.75 average.

The 2018 PWBA Greater Harrisburg Open champion holds an 87-pin advantage over Valerie Bercier of Spring Lake, Michigan, who sits in second place with 3,429.

Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, New York, is third with 3,404, Mexico's Sandra Gongora is fourth with 3,387 and Erin McCarthy of Omaha, Nebraska, is fifth with 3,360.

The top 32 players from the field advanced to the next round, which starts Saturday at 10 a.m. Eastern. The final player to advance to the Round of 32 was Bryanna Coté of Red Rock, Arizona, who finished with a 3,224 total, a 201.5 average.

The top 32 players will bowl eight more games Saturday to determine who advances to the Round of 12, which starts at 3 p.m. Eastern. After six additional games, the top four players based on total pinfall will advance to the stepladder finals.
