Five USBC Youth bowlers get inside look at PBA during U.S. Open

When the 67th Lumber Liquidators U.S. Open was held at Woodland Bowl, Feb. 22-28, in Indianapolis, five USBC Youth bowlers were able to participate in the PBA/United States Bowling Congress Insiders' Tour.

The participants were able to meet their favorite players on the PBA Tour, attend match-play eliminations and had a behind-the-scenes tour of the major event on the PBA Tour.

After watching Sunday's ESPN television finals from special VIP seats, the group had their picture taken with champion Bill O'Neill, who claimed his first major title.

Chase Morgan, Kayla Thompson, Dana Wilson, Erika Johnson and Chaney Duff were selected at random from among USBC Youth league bowlers in the Indianapolis area for the special event.

The Insiders' Tour is a joint program of the PBA and USBC. It allows young bowlers to see the world of professional bowling from a unique perspective and gives them an opportunity to meet their heroes.
