What years will each USBC Championships Tournament be held in Las Vegas?
This is a multi-year agreement that will bring the USBC Women's Championships to the new South Point venue in 2016, 2020 and 2022 and the USBC Open Championships in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.
Will the tournaments be held at the South Point bowling center?
No. There will be a new $30 million bowling facility constructed on the property at the South Point Hotel and Casino. This will complement the existing bowling center at South Point.
USBC, Las Vegas Events and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority are partnering with South Point to build the permanent, world-class bowling tournament facility at one of Las Vegas' premier bowling destinations. Construction of the new arena at will begin in May 2013.

The new venue is scheduled to open in the fall of 2015. Several events will be held there prior to the 2016 Women's Championships.

The Open Championships will head to the NBS in 2014, 2016, 2020, 2022 and 2024.
As part of the agreement with Reno, there will be $15 million of renovations to the NBS, which started in 2013 with the addition of the 900 Global Showcase Lanes on the ground floor of the one-of-a-kind venue.
USBC feels that having Reno and Las Vegas in the mix is a strong 1-2 punch of great bowling cities that also are top vacation destinations.

USBC recently named additional host cities for the Open and Women's Championships.
The Open Championships already was scheduled to visit El Paso, Texas, in 2015 and will travel to Syracuse, N.Y., in 2018 and Baton Rouge, La., in 2025. The Women's Championships will head to Baton Rouge in 2017, Wichita, Kan., in 2019 and Mobile, Ala., in 2021.
