Eight athletes to represent Senior Team USA at Senior Pan American Championship in Colombia

ARLINGTON, Texas – The National Selection Committee has chosen eight highly acclaimed athletes to represent Senior Team USA on the lanes at the 2026 PANAM Bowling IX Senior Pan American Championship, which will be contested from Aug. 29 – Sept. 5 at the Bowling Center of the Sports Unit in Cali, Colombia, the same venue that hosted the World Games in 2013.
Chris Barnes of Denton, Texas; Parker Bohn III of Jackson, New Jersey; Tom Daugherty of Riverview, Florida; and Tom Hess of Granger, Iowa, will make up the men’s team while Lynda Barnes of Denton, Texas; Kristin McEntee of Whiting, Indiana; Rina Sabo of Bennett, Colorado; and Jodi Woessner of Oregon, Ohio, comprise the women’s squad.
The octet has combined to win more than 90 international medals throughout their illustrious careers, and four of the eight – Chris Barnes, Lynda Barnes, Bohn and Woessner – are United States Bowling Congress Hall of Famers.
Senior Team USA is scheduled to arrive at the 2026 IX Senior Pan American Championship on Aug. 29 with the event’s technical meeting and official practice sessions taking place one day later on Aug. 30.
Singles competition in all divisions will officially get the tournament underway on Aug. 31.
Doubles and trios action will follow on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2, respectively.
The final two days of competition will feature the team event with the opening round being contested on Sept. 3 and Round 2 bringing the tournament to a close on Sept. 4.
