Junior Team USA member Kamron Doyle picked up his third gold medal in as many events Thursday at the 50th Lee Evans Tournament of the Americas in Tamarac, Fla.

Doyle teamed up with Ashley Dunn to win the Junior B division (ages 12-15) mixed doubles gold medal with a six-game total of 2,407. Doyle paced the duo with 1,261, while Dunn contributed 1,146. The pair finished 166 pins ahead of the field.

Kaitlyn Eder and Wesley Low picked up the bronze medal in the event, totaling 2,234 and finishing just seven pins behind Colombia, which earned silver.

In the Junior A division (ages 16-19), Tyler Cruz and Holly Harris took the gold medal with 2,396, finishing just 26 pins ahead of Canada. Junior Team USA's Elise Bolton and AJ Chapman, who fired a 300 game, took the bronze.

Team USA's Addileen Pointer and AJ Johnson finished just short of earning the bronze medal in the Adult division. The pair took fourth place, missing a medal by four pins. Danielle McEwan and Jarret Mizo finished eighth.

The United States took a pair of medals in the Senior division with Pam Sprow and Steve Kiss finishing second and Paula Vidad and Brian Brazeau taking bronze. In the Super Senior division, Lucy Sandelin and Ed Roberts claimed the gold medal, while Carol Teel and Jerry Teel took the silver.

Competition continues Friday with the opening six games of the team event, which is the final event of this year's Tournament of the Americas.

The Lee Evans Tournament of the Americas is the oldest annual international tournament in the American Zone. The invitational competition for countries of PABCON (Pan American Bowling Confederation - the American Zone of World Tenpin Bowling Association) has five divisions for men and women.
