Detroit youth bowlers watch Duke's victory

DETROIT - USBC Youth bowlers had the opportunity to watch Professional Bowlers Association Hall of Famer Norm Duke claim his 35th career victory as part of the PBA/USBC Insiders’ Tour.
Duke beat top-seed Mika Koivuniemi, 266-217, in the championship match of PBA Detroit Open presented by Track on Sunday and the USCB Youth members were at Thunderbowl Lanes to witness the action.
As part of the PBA/USBC Insiders’ Tour, the USBC Youth members from the Metro Detroit USBC had VIP seats to watch the finals streamed live on pba.com’s Xtra Frame online bowling channel. After Duke won the title, they joined him on the approach.

Through the PBA/USBC Insiders’ Tour, the PBA Tour provides USBC Youth members special access at PBA events so they can meet the tour’s stars and get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens during a PBA Tour stop. Participants were randomly selected from area USBC Youth bowlers.
