Denver USBC Youth bowlers get inside look at PBA Tour Five USBC Youth bowlers from the Denver area had the chance to participate in the Professional Bowlers Association/United States Bowling Congress Insiders' Tour during the Bayer Don and Paula Carter Mixed Doubles Championship.

The PBA event was held at Brunswick Zone Wheat Ridge in Wheat Ridge, Colo., from Feb. 16-21.

Nick Schoefberger, Robert Malvern, Alex Oblinger, Kyra Phillips and Briana Bond were selected at random from among USBC Youth league bowlers to participate in the program.

The participants had the opportunity to meet the stars of the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour, attend Friday's match-play eliminations and were taken behind the scenes to see how a PBA tournament is run.

They were given special seats for Sunday's ESPN television finals and after the event had the opportunity to have their picture taken with tournament winners Brian Voss and Diandra Asbaty.

The Insiders' Tour is a joint program of the PBA and USBC. It allows young bowlers to see the world of professional bowling from a unique perspective and gives them an opportunity to meet their heroes.
