The Pikeville men's and women's teams came away victorious at the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic, a USBC Collegiate Tier I event.

The Pikeville women held a slight advantage over Webber International and Lindenwood after six traditional games, but ran away from the field during Baker competition, coasting to the win at Brunswick Zone Austell in Marietta, Georgia, with a total of 10,722. Lindenwood (10,291) edged out Webber International (10,286) for second.

Pikeville's Katelyn Simpson earned the top individual honors with a six-game total of 1,279 (213.17 average). Lindenwood's Amanda Garavet finished second with 1,249, while Kamilah Dammers of Webber International took third with 1,214.

On the men's side, the Pikeville men also took advantage of Baker competition to secure the top spot in the standings with 11,312. Morehead State (11,110) finished just ahead of McKendree (11,102) to take second.

Ohio State's Kyler McDonald finished with a 242 game to sneak into the top individual spot on the men's side with 1,332 (222 average). McKendree teammates Riley Smith and AJ Johnson ended up second and third with 1,326 and 1,297, respectively.

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

- At the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference I and II in Columbus, Ohio, the Davenport and Lawrence Tech men secured the wins at the AHIBC I and AHIBC II, respectively, while the Alma College women snuck by the field at both events for the sweep.

- At the Texas Southern in Houston, Texas Southern knocked off Jackson State in the finals, 3-1, to earn the victory.
