The Webber International women and men cruised to wins last weekend at the Peach State Classic in Athens, Georgia.

The event took place at Showtime Bowl and welcomed eight varsity women's teams and 10 varsity men's teams. Competitors bowled six traditional games and 16 Baker games, with total pinfall determining the winner in each division.

In the women's division, Webber bounced back after a slow start, rolling 1,080 in its second game Saturday and never looked back, recording the victory by more than 430 pins with an 8,652 total. Florida State was second with 8,220, and Emmanuel took third with 7,948.

The top four spots in the individual standings also went to Webber as Lauren Snipes led the field with a 1,179 score. Snipes was followed by fellow Warriors Sanna Tetri (1,168), Taishaye Naranjo (1,155) and Jessica Larsson (1,148), while Florida State's Rachel DeVillier was fifth with 1,135.

The Webber men put together a wire-to-wire win, claiming the top spot by more than 730 pins with a 9,435 total. Emmanuel was second with 8,698, and Florida State was third with 8,316.

Student-athletes from Webber also posted the top three individual scores at Showtime Bowl. Matt Russo won his third consecutive individual title, posting a 1,430 total, and he was joined in the top three by Stephen Delong (1,399) and Adam Glickman (1,273). Emmanuel's Joshua Doneghy (1,265) and David Hooper Jr. (1,221) rounded out the top five.

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:


- At the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Illinois, the McKendree men and Lindenwood women were victorious in Tier 1 competition.

- At the KU Invitational in Limerick, Pennsylvania, the Stephen F. Austin women knocked off top seed Arkansas State in the title match, 4.5-1.5.

- At the Blue and Orange Classic in Carmel, New York, the Suffolk Community College men and Molloy women rolled to the top of the standings.

- At the Devil's Duel and Antelope Shoot-Out in Glendale, Arizona, the Washington State women and Grand Canyon men swept the top spots.
