FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Webber International men swept Purdue, while the McKendree women took down Webber, 2-1, to win titles at the McKendree Baker Challenge at St. Clair Bowl and Bel-Air Bowl.
The Webber men defeated Purdue 208-185 and 207-153 to win the match-play bracket. Purdue earned the top seed in qualifying with a total of 8,179, while Webber was second with 8,131. Robert Morris-Illinois was third with 7,922, while Calumet College of St. Joseph was fourth with 7,832.
In the women's division, host McKendree defeated Webber 223-214 in Game 1, lost the second game 237-154 and rebounded to take the title with a 226-224 win. McKendree earned the top seed in qualifying with 8,636, while Webber was second with 8,285. Lindenwood was third at 8,115, and Robert Morris-Illinois was fourth with 7,896.
A total of 27 men's schools and 26 women's schools competed in the event.

NCAA: Florida State wins FAMU Rattlers Classic
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State won the FAMU Rattlers Classic with a total of 8,288, while Sam Houston State finished second with 7,775. Prairie View A&M was third with 7,667.
In the individual standings, Florida State's Nicole Gielski took top honors with a five-game total of 1,029, a 205.8 average. Sam Houston's Dayna Galganski was second with 952, while Melissa Winch of Florida State was third with 938.

William Paterson wins EIBC Conference
MANALAPAN, N.J. - The William Paterson men won the Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Tournament with a total of 8,282, while St. John's took second with 7,940.
William Paterson's Matt Priore took top individual honors with a six-game total of 1,303, an average of 217.6. Bryan Evans of Stony Brook was second with 1,288, while Jonathan Deuire of William Paterson and Rob Gotterbarn of St. John's tied for third with 1,286.

Saginaw Valley St., Notre Dame-Ohio women win American Heartland event
LANSING, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State men won comfortably, while the Notre Dame-Ohio women took a close victory at the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference IV tournament at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl.
Saginaw Valley State finished with a total of 8,679, which easily topped Wright State's second-place total of 8,489. Grand Valley State was third with 8,290.
Toledo's Charles Easton took top individual honors with a five-game total of 1,199, an average of 239.8, while Grand Valley State's Donny Baird was second with 1,184. Frank Testa of Notre Dame-Ohio was third with 1,162.
The Notre Dame-Ohio women ended with 7,796 to top Pikeville's 7,713 total. Grand Valley State took third with 7,378.
Pikeville's Natasha Martin led the women's standings with a five-game total of 1,055, an average of 211. Kandis Garland of UNOH was second with 1,037, while Sabrina Provoast of Grand Valley State and Brianne Schmansky of Notre Dame-Ohio tied for third with 1,001.

NCAA: Fairleigh Dickinson wins NEC meet
WALLINGFORD, Conn. - The defending NCAA champions, Fairleigh Dickinson, came out on top in the Northeast Conference's second meet of the season.
Fairleigh Dickinson finished with 20,097 to top Kutztown's 19,550. Sacred Heart was third with 19,465, while New Jersey City took fourth with 19,426.

UW-Whitewater men, UW-Milwaukee women win Wisconsin Conference meet
GREEN BAY, Wis. - The UW-Whitewater men and UW-Milwaukee women took home victories in the Wisconsin Conference's third meet of the season at Willow Creek Lanes.
Whitewater finished with a total of 11,035, while Winona State took second with 10,988. Milwaukee was third with 10,925. UW-Stout's Steven Greenhalgh led individuals with a six-game total of 1,343, an average of 223.8, while Milwaukee's Alex Winter was second with 1,304.
In the women's division, Milwaukee won with 8,678, easily topping UW-Oshkosh's 8,125. Milwaukee's Sabrina Bolyard took top individual honors with a six-game total of 1,221, an average of 203.5, while her teammate, Leslie Johnson, was second with 1,114.

Briarcliffe men, women sweep Westchester Classic
WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. - The Briarcliffe men and women both took home titles at the Westchester Classic at Holiday Hoe Bowl.
The Briarcliffe men finished with 7,995, topping Schenectady's 7,593. Briarcliffe's Jack Castellano won the men's all-events with a 1,329 total for six games, an average of 221.5, while his teammate, Nick Lombardi, was second with 1,242.
On the women's side, Briarcliffe's 7,493 total easily topped SUNT-IT's 7,137.Stephanie Guzik of Briarcliffe won the all-events title with a six-game total of 1,201, an average of 200.1, while her teammate, Samantha Russ, was second with 1,186.

William Paterson, SUNY-IT earn wins at Dutchess Mardi Bob Tournament
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - William Paterson's men's team and SUNY-IT's women's team won the Dutchess Mardi Bob Tournament at Mardi Bob Lanes.
William Paterson finished with 7,667 to top Corning's 7,590. Hudson Valley was third with 7,580. In the all-events standings, Hudson Valley's Bull Pulver came out on top with a six-game total of 1,251, an average of 208.5, while Corning's Kevin Donovan was second with 205.5.
SUNY-IT took the women's title with 6,454, while Hudson Valley was second with 6,024. Hudson Valley's Rebecca Duncan won the all-events with a six-game total of 1,024.
