American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference IV
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Notre Dame-Ohio men took a narrow victory while the Wright State women rolled to the win at the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference IV meet.
Notre Dame finished with 7,263 to top Toledo's second place total of 7,229 by just 34 pins. Wright State finished third, while Saginaw Valley State was fourth.
Mark Mantle of Notre Dame led the individual standings with 1,500 for seven games, while Jay Foote of Wright State was second with 1,495. Junior Team USA member Chris Via of Notre Dame was third with 1,483.
In the women's division, Wright State totaled 7,053 to take top honors. Notre Dame-Ohio was second with 6,779, while Marian-Indianapolis was third with 6,741.
Wright State's Kristen Keenan finished on top of the individual rankings with a seven-game total of 1,408, while her teammate Stacy Spitzer was second with 1,387. Notre Dame's Jerracah Heibel was third with 1,379.
