At the third meet of the season in the Wisconsin Conference, Wisconsin-Whitewater won by a hefty margin on the men's side, while Wisconsin-Milwaukee claimed the victory for the women.
Whitewater finished with 10,860, easily topping second-place Mankato State, which finished second with 10,090. Milwaukee was third with 9,946, while Platteville finished fourth with 9,739.
The women's standings were a bit closer as Milwaukee finished with 8,217 to win by 120 pins over Green Bay, which was second with 8,097. Elmhurst was third with 8,013, while Platteville was fourth with 7,765.
Nick Kruml of Whitewater led the men's individual standings with a six-game total of 1,370 (228.33 average). Kyle Senft of Oshkosh was second with 1,337, while Joey Robillard of Mankato State finished third with 1,319.
Green Bay's Samantha Watson had a six-game total of 1,127 (187.83 average) to lead the women, while Beth Bogdanich of Elmhurst was second with 1,073. Brianna Condon of Winona was third with 1,067.
In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:
- At the Red Flash Invitational in Altoona, Pa., St. Francis defeated Kutztown , 4-3, in the championship match.
- At the Hastings Bronco Baker Game Challenge in Hastings, Neb., the Midland men and Newman women finished on top.
- At the Mardi-Bob Invitational Tournament in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Schenectady CC knocked off William Paterson by more than 100 pins to take the win.
- At the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference IV, the Notre Dame-Ohio men and women pulled off the sweep of the titles.
- At the McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Heights, Ill., the Wichita State men defeated Lindenwood in the title match. Results for the women were not available.
- At the Westchester Classic in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Nassau picked up the victory in the men's division, while Briarcliffe was tops among the women.
