Nebraska wins Morgan State Invitational
PERRY HALL, Md. - Nebraska defeated Maryland Eastern Shore in the finals of bracket competition to win the Morgan State Invitational. Vanderbilt took third, while Sacred Heart finished fourth.
Nebraska led qualifying with 8,910, while Vanderbilt was second with 8,833. Maryland Eastern Shore was next at 8,871.
In the individual standings, Jasmine Laugerman of Nebraska finished on top with a five-game total of 1,145, an average of 229. Vanderbilt's Brittni Hamilton finished second with 1,078, while Maryland Eastern Shore's Martha Perez was third with 1,041.

Erie, Mohawk Valley win NJCAA Region III event
UTICA, N.Y. - The Erie men and the Mohawk Valley women claimed victories at the NJCAA Region III event.
Erie finished with 9,299 to top Hudson Valley's 9,214. Schenectady finished third with 8,756, while Mohawk Valley took fourth with 8,459. In the men's all-events, Ryan Sickler of Hudson Valley won with 1,714, while Ted Chojecki of Erie was second with 1,716.
In women's competition, Mohawk Valley topped the standings with 8,652, while Hudson Valley was second with 8,173. Erie's Jenna Law won all-events with 1,586, while Hudson Valley's Rebecca Duncan was second with 1,559.

Nassau men, Suffolk Grant win NJCAA Region XV event
WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. - The Nassau men finished with 13,402 to top a four-school men's field to win the title, while Suffolk Grant was best among two schools with 9,771 at the NJCAA Region XV event.
Dutchess' Clay Adams took the men's all-events title with 2,525, while Nassau's Steve Schneider was second with 2,479. In the women's all-events, Suffolk's Tammy Miller won with 2,088, while Westchester's Alyssa Skidell was second with 2,012.

Robert Morris-Illinois, Morehead State win Hoosier Classic
INDIANAPOLIS - Robert Morris-Illinois claimed the women's title, while Morehead State took home the men's title at the 42nd annual Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl on Sunday. The entire event was streamed live on BOWL.com.
Robert Morris defeated Central Florida, 3-2, to win the women's championship, while Morehead State took down Lindenwood, 3-1, to top the men's field.
In the women's title match, Robert Morris won the final two games, 214-181 and 203-158, to claim the event.
To advance to the championship, Central Florida defeated Newman, 3-1, in the semifinals, while Robert Morris knocked off Wichita State, 3-2.
In the men's final, Morehead State beat Lindenwood, 202-183, in the opening game, dropped Game 2, 206-190, and came back to win the next two, 213-180 and 190-184 to claim the title.
Morehead State defeated Webber International, 3-0, in the semifinals, while Lindenwood took down Newman, 3-1.
In the men's individual standings, Purdue's TJ Schmidt shot the tournament's only 300 game and won with a nine-game total of 2,006. Wichita State's Marcus Berndt was second with 1,965.
Wichita State's Jazreel Tan earned top women's individual honors with 1,871, while Amanda Greene of Lindenwood was second with 1,861.
