NCAA: Fairleigh Dickinson wins Capital City Classic

DOVER, Del. -
Defending NCAA champions Fairleigh Dickinson came from the No.3 seed to win the title at the Delaware State Capital City Classic.

Fairleigh Dickinson defeated No. 2 seed Vanderbilt, 4-1, in the championship match. Vanderbilt took second, while top seed Maryland Eastern Shore finished third.

In qualifying, Maryland Eastern Shore led the way with a 9,133 total, while Vanderbilt was second with 9,017. Fairleigh Dickinson was third with 8,785.

Maryland Eastern Shore's Kristina Frahm took top individual honors with a five-game total of 1,112, an average of 222.4. Vanderbilt's Samantha Hesley was second with 1,095, while Maryland Eastern Shore's Maria Jose Rodriquez was third with 1,084.

Corning men, Mohawk Valley women win Boulevard Bowl Collegiate Classic

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -
The Corning men and Mohawk Valley women came away with victories at the Boulevard Bowl Collegiate Classic.

Corning topped Hudson Valley by a score of 7,986-7,925 to finish first, while Suffolk County finished with 7,789. Corning's Marcus Beard won all-evens with a six-game total of 1,534, an average of 255.6, while his teammate Kevin Donovan took second with 1,533.

In the women's division, Mohawk Valley finished with 7,189 to easily beat SUNY IT's second-place total of 6,875. Mohawk Valley's Morgan Reid took the all-events title with a six-game total of 1,308, an average of 218, while her teammate Kylie Pasquerella was second with 1,267.

William Penn men, women win Clarke University Conference Invitational

DUBUQUE, Iowa -
The William Pen men and women swept the titles at the Clarke University Conference Invitational. The men defeated Ashford in the championship match, 3-0, while the women knocked off St. Ambrose, 3-1, for the title.

In men's qualifying, William Penn led the way with 9,433, while Midland was second with 8,770. William Penn's Cameron Foster topped the individual standings with a six-game total of 1,345, an average of 224.1, while Clarke's Jacob Boresch was second with 1,328.

Midland topped the women's qualifying with 8,370, while William Penn was second with 7,963. Midland's Erin McCarthy won top individual honors with a six-game total of 1,297, an average of 216.6, while William Penn's Brie Underwood was second with 1,172.

UW-Milwaukee men, women sweep Wisconsin Conference Meet No. 4

GREEN BAY, Wis. -
The Wisconsin-Milwaukee men and women both emerged as the winners of the four meet of the Wisconsin Conference.

The Milwaukee men totaled 11,798 to top Winona State's 11,589, while Wisconsin-Whitewater was third with 11,462. Wisconsin-Stout's Nate Becher topped the men's individual standings with a six-game total of 1,441, an average of 240.1, while Winona's Matt Meekma was second with 1,403.

In the women's division, Milwaukee topped the field with 8,622, while Wisconsin-Oshkosh was second with 8,023. Milwaukee's April Wampole led the individuals with a six-game total of 1,118, an average of 186.3, while Oshkosh's Jessica Kulick was second with 1,114.

West Texas A&M men, women claim SWIBC IV

FORT WORTH, Texas -
The West Texas A&M men finished with 9,846 to win the title over North Texas' 9,827, while the West Texas A&M women totaled 9,056 to beat Texas A&M's 7,369 to win the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference IV tournament.

North Texas' Sean Lavery-Spahr won the men's individual standings with a nine-game total of 2,152, an average of 239.1, while Jimmy Ewell of West Texas A&M took second with 2,106.

Emily Dzierski of Our Lady of the Lake earned top individual honors among the women with a nine-game total of 1,697, an average of 188.5, while Karen Montague of Texas A&M was second with 1,639.

NCAA: Kutztown wins Pennsylvania State Championships

DEVON, Pa. -
Kutztown topped a five-school field with a total of 6,520 to win the Pennsylvania State Championships. St. Francis finished second with 5,908.

Kutztown's Kayla Stamm led the individual standings with a five-game total of 1,002, an average of 200.4. Samantha Santoro of Kutztown was second with 950.

Briarcliffe men, women win Westchester Invitational

BAYSHORE, N.Y. -
The Briarcliffe men totaled 8,262, while the Briarcliffe women shot 7,264 to win titles at the Westchester Invitational.

In men's all-events, Briarcliffe's Jack Castellano and William Paterson's Bryan Sweney tied for the top spot with a six-game total of 1,306, an average of 217.6. Briarcliffe's Sarah O'Brien won the women's all-events with 1,125.

Hudson Valley sweeps Suffolk County Invitational

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -
The Hudson Valley men and women earned team titles at the 17th annual Suffolk County Community College Invitational.

Hudson Valley topped the men's standings with 7,233, while Corning was second with 7,111. Dutchess' Shawn Rutigliano won the six-game all-events with a 1,384 total, an average of 230.6, while Canisius' Tom Michalewski was second with 1,368.

In the women's division, Hudson Valley finished with 6,439, while Mohawk Valley was second with 6,315. Hudson Valley's Nicole Sheldon won all-events with 1,220 for six games, an average of 203.3, while Cayuga's Stefanie Spinney was second with 1,211.

Morehead State men, Pikeville women win Kentucky Collegiate Classic

LEXINGTON, Ky. -
The Morehead State men and Pikeville women came out on top at the Thomas N. Burris Memorial Kentucky Collegiate Classic.

Morehead State fired 7,271 to top the men's standings, while Pikeville was second with 7,220. Morehead State's Steven Zimmer earned top individual honors with 1,170, an average of 234 for five games, while his teammate Mike Whitt was second with 1,077.

Pikeville won the women's division with 7,201, while Bellarmine was second with 6,488. Pikeville occupied the top four spots in the individual standings with Christina Halen winning with 1,089.

Nassau men, Briarcliffe women win Nassau Tournament

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. -
The Nassau men finished with 7,403 to top Canisius' 7,385 to win the title, while the Briarcliffe women finished with 7,421 to win the Nassau Tournament.

Nassau's Steven Schneider won the men's all-events with a six-game total of 1,407, an average of 234.5, while Canisius' Justin Zimmerman was second with 1,381. Briarcliffe's Sarah O'Brien won the women's all-events with 1,378.

Suffolk County, Briarcliffe win Briarcliffe Invitational

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. -
The Suffolk County Community College totaled 8,689 to top Briarcliffe by 10 pins, while the Briarcliffe women won the title with 8,648 at the Briarcliffe Invitational.

Nassau's Chris Bonomo won the men's all-events with a six-game total of 1,402, an average of 233.6, while Suffolk County's Dylan Russo was second with 1,374. Briarcliffe's Samantha Russ won the women's all-events with 1,323.
