The West Texas A&M men and Grand Canyon women rolled to victories at the Rebel Classic, a Tier 1 event in the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate season, last weekend in Las Vegas.
The Rebel Classic took place at The Orleans Bowling Center and included six traditional games and 12 two-game Baker matches with total pinfall, including bonus pins, determining the winner in each division.
The West Texas A&M men built nearly a 200-pin lead after Saturday's opening round and never looked back, securing the win with a 11,966 total. Iowa Central Community College finished second with 11,526, and St. John's was third with 11,323.
West Texas A&M's Tyler Albracht averaged more than 248 for his six-game block, including a 300 game, to earn the top individual honor with a 1,490 total. Arizona State's Chase Nadeau was second with 1,382, and Grand Canyon's Kyle Simi (1,350), Fresno State's Joshua Taylor (1,342) and St. John's Will Blanco (1,318) also finished in the top five.
The Grand Canyon women also built an early lead after going undefeated during Saturday's six traditional games and earned the win with a 10,685 total. Hastings finished in second place with 10,139, and West Texas A&M was third with 9,937.
Grand Canyon's Correen Lieber topped the women's individual standings, finishing her six-game block with a perfect game on her way to a 1,394 total, a 232.3 average. Hastings' Bailey Zeleny finished in second place with 1,200, while Grand Canyon's Jennifer Pheigaru (1,176), Iowa Central's Christina Hemann (1,158) and Hastings' Harmonie Trenn (1,156) also earned a spot in the top five.

- At the Sin City Open in Las Vegas, the West Texas A&M men and women collected the top spots.
- At the FAMU Rattler in Pensacola, Florida, the Alabama State women defeated Alabama-Birmingham in Game 7 to claim the title, 4-3.
- At the Prairie View A&M Invitational in Arlington, Texas, the Nebraska women won their fifth consecutive Prairie View Invitational title by sweeping Vanderbilt in the finals, 4-0.
- At the Red Flash Invitational in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the St. Francis-Pennsylvania women earned the top spot by defeating Norfolk State in the championship round, 4-2.
- At the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association II in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the Fayetteville State women captured the top spot in the Southern division, while Virginia State led the way in the Northern division.
- At the Westchester Shootout in Fishkill, New York, the College of New Jersey men and Sacred Heart women posted winning totals.
- At the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference III and IV in Westland, Michigan, the Wright State women and Notre Dame-Ohio men swept the top spots.
- At the Great Lakes Bowling Conference III in Neenah, Wisconsin, the Wisconsin-Whitewater men and Viterbo women rolled to big wins.
- At the Westchester Classic in Wappingers Falls, New York, the Molloy women and Stevens men finished at the top of the standings.
