Helen Shablis won the all-events title at the 1963 USBC Women's Championships. In the Federation Internationale des Quilleurs competition in 1963, Shablis captained the U.S. women's team that captured a European-style team title; she also earned the Women's All-Events title and paired with Dorothy Wilkinson to win the women's doubles title.
